Our trails offer a unique opportunity to explore and learn about fire ecology and our ecosystem in all its aspects—plants, animals, geology, climate, etc.—and how they interdepend and interact with each other. Our lookouts offer a wonderful window into a beloved, and to many people a romantic era that is fast fading with the advent of advanced technology. Our trails are open for self-guided exploration from dawn to dusk seven days a week. Explore, ponder, and enjoy!
