Vision for the Future

As long as Columbia Breaks has been in existence we have had a dream of building an educational interpretive center. We are now uniquely poised to expand on this dream and already have a site plan drawn up. (Insert a copy of the site plan on this page) 

This center would attract visitors from all over, as well as being available for local community events. The center would provide a virtual immersion experience for visitors, allowing them to experience a simulation of a healthy forest, that transitions to an overgrown, unhealthy forest, to a burning forest, and finally to a recovering forest. It will require a great deal of work and dedication on the part of our board members, partners, and friends to bring this dream to fruition, but we feel that it is within reach.
